What Can You Accomplish In 30 Days? Day 7

Well, we are already 7 days into this project...can you believe it? Do you feel healthier yet? I don't. I feel like crap. Some of the other changes I have incorporated into this 30 day adventure have been cutting way down on the carbs, switching from coffee to tea, and being sure to start each day with a large glass of freshly squeezed juice in lieu of food. I thought that I would be feeling squeaky clean by this point...but, no. I'm tired, cranky, and have a constant low-grade headache that has been nagging me over the past 2 days. I know you are all probably thinking, "What the hell is up with this post? How is this supposed to inspire me to change my health habits?" The point of this post is that I'm not feeling that great...yet I am still going to continue on. This will pass. My body is detoxing, and detox is never fun...but too often, we jump back into old habits because it is easier than suffering through a few days of mild discomfort.

So, for today the goal is to forge onward with the changes you are currently making, and not to give up. Go outside of your comfort zone. Remember the old adage, "Pain is weakness leaving the body"? Take that saying to heart today.
