Like digestion, sleep, and periods, the libido can be a telling factor when it comes to imbalance in the system. Unfortunately, this particular area seems difficult to gauge for most people, particularly for women. Unless someone has an insanely high sex drive, most women's descriptions of their sex drive seem to fall within the range of "eh" to low. I blame this on two factors: the adrenal exhaustion that most of us suffer from due to stress and overwork. |

I work so much on the weekends that they never actually feel like "weekends." In fact, I often look forward to Mondays, because even though I work all day, I still work less than I do on Friday and Saturday (and usually Sunday.) So, I was happy to schedule myself off for four days to go to a seminar in Cambridge this weekend hosted by the renowned Dr. Tan. I had somehow gotten it into my head that this time of learning would be a mini-vacation. I was wrong. |

I am in a field where I tend to see people being very honest about how they feel about themselves. Patients are aware that my intentions for them are pure, and that the questions I ask all have a greater purpose. I think that they also know that my office is one of those rare, special places where judgment is not allowed to exist. People can tell me anything without fear of horrifying, disgusting, infuriating, or shocking me. What happens at Healing Point Therapeutics, stays in Healing Point Therapeutics. |

I've been such a bad blogger lately. It's been so difficult to squeeze in writing when I barely have time to breathe. So, today, I will make it up to with some links to posts on acupuncture/hypnosis treatments that I think you will enjoy:

The title of today's blog was inspired by Sherman Hemsley, otherwise known as "George Jefferson". R.I.P. George...hope you are enjoying that deluxe apartment in the sky! Forgive my lame humor today; I'm a bit punchy from lack of sleep and overdosing on coffee. And speaking of apartments in the sky, I spent this week moving from one third-floor apartment...to another third-floor apartment. Although I am excited about my new place, the move itself was a wretched experience. |
